21/22 SEASON: Time to make the difference with GPS trackers

When projecting next season as a team, thinking about technologies to measure players performance is becoming increasingly stronger in the sports world. We generally tend to think that GPS trackers are used only in elite teams and clubs. That’s the reason why at OLIVER we created a GPS tracker that most teams can access, a wearable with top-tech efficiently built to make it accessible to everyone.

We are all aware that sport, particularly football, has become extremely competitive. Either in competition with oneself to improve day by day and/or with another team.

That is why tech evolutions took the lead in the sports world, and it is something that must be taken into account to make a difference.

OLIVER is impacting on players and team performance: First division teams that use OLIVER choose it not only for the amount of  data it provides but clear insights on how to evolve the game.

OLIVER: technological partner of Academia Puerto Cabello, Venezuelan First Division team

Among these data we grant the possibility to measure ball interactions, such as ball possession, kicks power, and total ball kicks. This is an advantage given by the placement of the device on the leg. OLIVER provides insights that are really valuable both for sports directors, physical trainers and team staff. Each of them has access to the OLIVER platform according to their needs.

Sports directors can check club metrics and data, compare teams, and obtain insights to know who are the players that perform best. Physical trainers, coaches and medical staff have different accesses for their uses, synchronize and analyze data, understand the evolution of each player and the team, and also they can monitor how the player returns from an injury.

One of the key features is the injury prevention system, one of OLIVER´s most significant sections. Measuring the internal loads of each player is essential to optimize the athlete's performance at a high level and adapt each training if necessary.

The health monitoring has an injury risk indicator based on the player's external load and their biometric data, alerting the player and staff in the event that they are overtrained or undertrained.

Another key element for the team's staff is the injury board, which allows to monitor injured players, understand their “readiness” so as not to reicide the injury.

The 2021/2022 season is getting closer and accompanying the evolution of technology is essential to make a difference, evolving performance and preventing injuries that can come during the season. From OLIVER we want to accompany the teams measuring their training & games with promotional prices.

Start the 2021/2022 season by measuring your players with the OLIVER's GPS tracker.
